The movie will present an unusual plot in the backdrop of a colony of rowdies and thieves through which a meter gauge train runs. Dileep appears as the title characters Mulla, a petty thief and goonda who are a tea vendor on trains.

The movie produced and distributed by Sagar and Balaji Productions will make into more than fifty theatres tomorrow, two weeks ahead of Vishu. This ensures that the movie will get a free run till the Vishu days when the other biggies of the season like 'Annan Thampi' and 'Innnathe Chinthvishayam' make into theatres.
